Privacy Policy

Perimeno is developed by Jacob Hendrik Huisman (WayToPlan).

1. The short version

We cannot see your symptoms, your notes or your cycle. They are never sent to us. There is no account to create with us and no profile of you anywhere on our side. If you are signed into iCloud, your logs sync to your own private iCloud so a lost or broken phone does not lose them, but that is your iCloud, encrypted by Apple, and we have no access to it. The only information that reaches us is what Apple needs to process a purchase, and anything you choose to send us yourself.

2. What you log, and where it lives

Your daily check-ins (menstrual flow, symptoms and their intensity, sleep, stress and your notes) are stored on your device, along with your onboarding answers, your reminder time, your appearance choice, and the optional names you enter for the doctor summary.

If you are signed into iCloud, this data also syncs to your private iCloud database. That is Apple's iCloud under your own Apple Account, encrypted and accessible only to you. It lets your logs move to a new phone and survive a lost or reset one. We do not run a server of our own, and we cannot read your iCloud data. If you are not signed into iCloud, everything simply stays on the device.

Deleting Perimeno removes the copy on your device. A copy may remain in your iCloud until you remove the app's data there, or sign out; that copy is governed by Apple's terms, not ours.

3. The doctor summary

The PDF summary is generated entirely on your device. It is not uploaded anywhere. When you share it, iOS asks you where it should go, and from that point the file is in your hands: whoever you send it to receives whatever it contains. Nothing is shared automatically, and nothing is sent without you choosing a destination.

4. Reminders

If you switch on the daily reminder, it is scheduled locally by iOS on your device. No server is involved and nothing about your logging is transmitted in order to send it. You can turn it off at any time in Settings, or revoke notification permission in the iOS Settings app.

5. Purchases

Premium is sold through Apple's App Store. Apple handles the payment and tells the app whether you have an active purchase. We never see your card details or your Apple ID.

We use RevenueCat to keep track of subscription and purchase records. RevenueCat receives purchase information (which product, when, whether it is active), an anonymous identifier for your installation, and technical details such as your IP address and device type. It never receives your symptom data, your notes or anything else you log.

6. If you contact us

The feedback form in the app sends us your message, plus the app version, your device model and your iOS version so we can reproduce problems. Your name and email address are optional: leave them out and we simply have no way to reply. This is delivered through Web3Forms, a form-handling service, and then lands in our email inbox.

We use what you send only to answer you and to fix what you reported.

7. This website

This site does not use advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies, and it does not set cookies to identify you. If you use the contact form here, the name, email address and message you enter are emailed to us and used only to reply to you. Standard web server logs (such as IP address and requested page) may be kept by our hosting provider for security and operational purposes.

The site loads a web font from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers when the page loads.

8. What we do not do

We do not sell or share your data. We do not show advertising. There is no advertising identifier, no tracking across other apps or websites, and no analytics or usage-measurement service in this app. We do not build profiles, and we do not use your data to train anything.

9. Your data is yours

You are in direct control of your logs. Deleting the app removes the copy on your device. If iCloud sync is on, a new phone signed into the same Apple Account gets your logs back; to remove them from iCloud too, delete the app's data in your iCloud settings or sign out. You can also keep a copy yourself with Back up my data in the app's Settings.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data we hold. In practice the only personal data we could hold is a support message you sent us. Email us and we will delete it.

10. Children

Perimeno is made for adults tracking perimenopause symptoms and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change how the app handles data, we will update this policy and the date at the top. Meaningful changes will be mentioned in the app rather than made quietly.

12. Contact
